Latest news saying that , a team of Indian hackers had stolen the main source code of Norton Anti virus guard , this particular virus guard was not a home version it is an enterprise version. It seems to be a very fetal incident because most of companies in the world using this anti virus program.But Symantec saying that this anti virus guard is not available any more since 2006.
All the new versions of Norton Antivirus Guards also developed from the same mother source code ( the same source code is used to develop anti virus guards, from time to time only few things will update in that code) , so hackers having a greater chance of producing more effective viruses which can easily escape from any anti virus program.
